I live life outdoors. A life with wind and bugs and sun and biting cold and immeasurable joy. Being outside together fosters connection. It is imperfect, messy and uncomfortable but I promise you it's where the magic happens. Paddling with your family, eating breakfast in the grass, sitting in the garden - these are the moments that matter. These are the stories we tell together and the moments I want to help you hold onto.
My photography falls at the intersection of art and ecology, meteorology and spirituality, entomology and philosophy. I look for opportunities to document how we fit into a larger story and a great big universe. I am interested in your family, your love, your work - but I think that these are inseparable from your story's backdrop, the ecosystem from which it grew, the plants that nurtured it, and the landscapes that shaped it. My work tugs gently at your hem, asking you kindly to investigate this interconnectedness.
You fill out the contact form below and share some important details with me.
I reach out via email and we dive in. We discuss what types of things you and your family love to do outside, or if you have a special place that you want to make sure we visit.
You pay the deposit, I put you on my calendar in permanent ink and send you my client guide.
We meet for coffee or chat over the phone. We go over final details, styling and logistics.
We meet up, take photos, have an adventure, make memories and become fast friends.
LAND TAX
Outdoorsy folk and those who profit from the outdoor industry have slid by with little to no accountability regarding their impact on the land and Indigenous peoples. As a photographer with a business firmly rooted in capturing people in the outdoors, I pay a portion of what I make to the caretakers and stewards of the places I recreate, love and photograph
10% of each session is paid directly to local indigenous-run and led organizations
We live in a world where the well-being of queer and trans youth is at stake. Any photography for queer, non-binary, and trans youth is always free. This includes senior photos, family portraits, and individual portraits.
To all the queer, non-binary, and trans young people - I see you and I'm here for you. I'm here to help you shine. To capture and celebrate your magic. I'm here as a co-conspirator and collaborator. I'm here to let you be your own creative director, to help make your vision come to life. Let's show the world who you are.
I can't wait to buy you a cup of coffee and plan our big adventure. In the meantime, send me some important information.
In your message, tell me who will be joining us and what you want to do together (bikes, boats, hiking, something else?). Let me know what your timeline is - next week or next month - and whether you have a special place in mind or want suggestions. I'll be in touch soon!

The better question is what can't we? I get excited about headshots in the garden, hiking with kids, backyard run-ins with the hose, and any time spent on a bike or in a boat.
I'll meet you at the cabin, in the lake, up north, or at the park. I'll pull up to the campsite, visit you at the yurt, or clip on a pair of skis and join you on the trail. I am a photographer who embraces every season with joy, optimism, and a lot of snacks.
